Worries about the world


Some things that happen in the world can make us feel scared, confused, and unsafe, or like we don’t have any control. For this reason, Childline have produced some useful content to help with worries about the world, providing support to young people and families if they become anxious about stories in the news, for example Coronavirus. There are helpful strategies for dealing with anxiety in the Calmzone section, along with practical tips for coping.

Kooth can also provide support and counselling for young people who are worried and becoming anxious.
