‘Don’t overestimate others and underestimate yourself’

17/06/2021

There’s never been a better time to focus on our mental health and wellbeing, so we’ve enlisted the help of legendary former rugby league champion, Jamie Peacock MBE, in our mission.

A selection of Ossett Academy and Horbury Academy pupils in years 7 to 10 are currently taking part in Jamie’s ‘Be a Champion’ workshop which is built around four key areas to success, namely; positive mindset, good sleep, healthy eating and physical activity.

This 30-day programme aims to educate pupils on how to take ownership of the key areas in order to maximise their health and wellbeing – can’t wait to see how you get on!
