Accord Receives National Edurio Awards for Staff and Pupil Satisfaction

Accord Multi Academy Trust (MAT) has been recognised in the 2025 Edurio Awards for outstanding commitment to fostering a culture where staff and pupils feel happy, valued and heard. Among more than 160 Trusts surveyed nationwide, Accord ranked in the top 10 for the ‘Trust Value Award – Excellence’ which measures how positively colleagues view their experience within the Trust.

In addition, Middlestown Primary Academy (MPA, part of the Accord family, achieved four awards from a field of more than 600 schools. MPA ranked in the top 10 both regionally and nationally for the ‘Pupil Choice Award’ and ‘Listening & Acting – Pupil Feedback Award’.

Edurio is a leading platform for educational surveys, offering pupils, parents, staff and stakeholders the opportunity to share their insights. Their awards programme celebrates excellence across the education sector. In the 2024-25 academic year, Edurio gathered feedback from more than 80,000 educational professionals across England to find out more about their roles, workload and future within their organisation. Accord’s recognition is based on staff satisfaction responses, with employees reporting that being part of the Trust positively benefits their professional experience.

Meanwhile, MPA’s accolades are based on pupils’ responses to key questions such as: “How likely would you be to recommend this school to another pupil?” and “How valued do you think pupil opinion is in your school?””

Alan Warboys, CEO of Accord, commented: “We are delighted that our colleagues value Accord as a supportive employer. Whilst the young people in our care are our purpose, we recognise that the adults who guide and teach them are pivotal to the work of our Trust. We are a people-first organisation, committed to helping our colleagues thrive.

“I extend heartfelt congratulations to the team at MPA. Their dedication to creating a truly happy and inclusive learning environment is inspiring. Through tailored wellbeing initiatives and meaningful opportunities for pupil leadership and feedback, they empower children to flourish.

“We also thank Edurio for recognising our efforts. We remain committed to continuous improvement across our Trust and academies, ensuring every stakeholder has a voice and every voice is valued.”
